어떻게 시간을 정하거나 바꾸나요?

화면 위쪽 전체 시간을 눌러 시간·분·초 세 휠에서 1초~1시간을 고르세요. 30초·1분·5분·25분·1시간 프리셋도 있습니다. 전체 시간 변경은 모래를 새로 채우고 시작 전 상태로 돌아갑니다. 큰 남은 시간을 누르면 실행 중·일시 정지 상태를 유지하며 시간을 늘리거나 줄일 수 있습니다. 새 남은 시간이 전체 시간보다 길면 전체 용량도 늘어납니다.

기울이거나 뒤집으면 어떻게 되나요?

기울기 연동 중에는 아이폰을 기울일수록 흐름이 느려지고, 옆으로 눕히거나 평평하게 놓으면 멈춥니다. 뒤집으면 이미 쌓인 모래가 새 남은 시간이 됩니다. 10분 중 4분이 흘렀다면 뒤집었을 때 4분이 남습니다. 화면의 뒤집기 버튼도 사용할 수 있습니다. 책상에서 일정하게 세려면 모드 버튼으로 ‘탁상 모드’를 선택하세요.

잠금 화면과 Dynamic Island에서는 어떻게 쓰나요?

설정의 ‘실시간 현황 표시’를 켜고 iOS에서도 실시간 현황을 허용한 뒤 타이머를 시작하세요. 잠금 화면과 지원 기기의 Dynamic Island에 남은 시간과 상태가 표시됩니다. 잠금 화면 또는 길게 눌러 확장한 Dynamic Island에서 일시 정지·재개·종료를 조작할 수 있습니다. 종료는 현재 타이머와 실시간 현황을 끝냅니다. 완료 알림은 실시간 현황과 별개의 설정입니다.

앱과 잠금 화면의 시간이 다르거나, 0이 되어도 카드가 남아요.

앱 숫자는 남은 모래량을 정상 속도로 환산한 시간입니다. 기울기 연동 중 실시간 현황은 현재 흐름 속도로 예상한 완료 시간을 사용하므로 더 길게 표시될 수 있습니다. 앱을 벗어나면 마지막 방향·속도로 시간을 이어가며 새로운 기울기나 뒤집기는 감지하지 않습니다. 일정한 카운트다운에는 탁상 모드를 사용하세요. 실시간 현황의 카운트다운은 0에서 멈추지만 iOS의 백그라운드 동작에 따라 카드가 남을 수 있습니다. 앱을 다시 열거나 종료 버튼을 누르면 정리됩니다.

화면 모양, 글자 방향과 언어를 바꿀 수 있나요?

유리와 화면은 아이폰의 라이트·다크 모드를 따릅니다. 아이폰을 거꾸로 세우면 글자·버튼·설정 화면도 180° 회전하고, 옆으로 놓거나 평평하게 놓으면 마지막 읽기 방향을 유지합니다. 설정 → 언어에서 시스템 설정, 한국어, English를 고를 수 있습니다. 직접 선택한 언어는 저장됩니다. 확대 버튼으로 모래시계를 크게 볼 수 있습니다.

소리, 햅틱과 완료 알림은 어디서 바꾸나요?

설정에서 완료 종소리, 햅틱, 화면 켜두기, ‘화면이 잠겨도 완료 알림’을 각각 선택할 수 있습니다. 알림을 켤 때 iOS 권한을 허용하고 아이폰 설정 → 알림 → 모래시계도 확인하세요. 무음·집중 모드 등 iOS 설정에 따라 소리나 표시가 제한될 수 있습니다. 흐름이 완전히 멈췄거나 일시 정지 상태이면 완료 알림이 예약되지 않습니다.

저장 방식과 지원 기기는 무엇인가요?

iOS 17 이상이 설치된 iPhone을 지원합니다. Dynamic Island는 지원 모델에 표시됩니다. 설정·진행 상태·완료 횟수는 기기에 저장되며 개발자 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 백업 포함 여부는 iOS 백업 설정을 따릅니다. 앱 자체의 계정이나 기기 간 동기화 기능은 없습니다.

Set or change the time

Tap the total duration at the top and use the hour, minute, and second wheels to choose 1 second to 1 hour. Presets include 30 seconds, 1, 5, and 25 minutes, and 1 hour. Setting a total duration refills the glass and returns it to ready. Tap the large remaining time to add or remove time while keeping the timer running or paused. A longer remaining time expands the total to fit.

Tilt, flip, or use desk mode

In motion mode, tilting slows the flow; holding the phone sideways or laying it flat stops it. Flipping makes the collected sand your new remaining time: after 4 minutes of a 10-minute hourglass, a flip leaves 4 minutes. The on-screen Flip button also works. Choose Desk mode with the mode control for a steady countdown at any angle.

Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

Turn on Show Live Activity in Settings, allow Live Activities in iOS, and start a timer. The Lock Screen and supported Dynamic Island models show the remaining time and status. Pause, resume, or end from the Lock Screen, or touch and hold Dynamic Island to expand its controls. End finishes the current timer and its Live Activity. Completion notifications are a separate setting.

Different times, background behavior, or a card left at zero

The number in the app is remaining sand at normal flow speed. Motion-mode Live Activities estimate completion at the current flow rate, so their countdown can be longer. Away from the app, time continues at the last direction and speed; new tilt and flips are not tracked. Choose desk mode for a steady countdown. The Live Activity countdown stops at zero, but its card can remain because of iOS background behavior. Reopen the app or use End to clear it.

Appearance, reading direction, and language

The glass and interface follow your iPhone's Light and Dark Mode. Holding your iPhone upside down rotates text, controls, and settings 180°. Sideways or flat positions keep the last reading direction. Settings → Language offers System setting, 한국어, and English; a manual choice is saved. The expand button opens a larger hourglass view.

Sound, haptics, and notifications

Settings has separate choices for the completion chime, haptics, screen-awake behavior, and notifications while the screen is locked. Allow notification permission and check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Hourglass. Silent Mode, Focus, and other iOS settings can affect sound or presentation. No completion notification is scheduled when flow is fully stopped or the timer is paused.

Local storage and compatibility

Requires iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Dynamic Island appears on supported models. Preferences, timer progress, and completed-session counts stay on your device and are not sent to a developer server. Inclusion in backups follows iOS backup settings. There is no app account or app-managed cross-device sync.
